Seminars and Papers: The NPMA is looking for dynamic and energetic speakers to present educational topics to our diverse mix of attendees during PETRO 2018, 3 - 6 April 2018 at the Hilton Mark Center, Alexandria VA. The focus is on issues and problems facing the petroleum operations and maintenance profession. The presentations should provide solutions and suggest alternatives for achieving greater efficiency, enhance safety in fuel handling, and should align with one of the subject tracks in the program theme: Safety, Professionalism, and Reliability (SPR). 

These presentations will not be “sales” presentations – company and/or product sales pitches are prohibited. The company name and logo along with the speaker’s name and seminar title is allowed on the title page only. Limit your presentation time to 35 minutes, followed immediately by a brief question and answer period. Submit a synopsis of technical presentation by 1 January 201 8 . Papers will be evaluated based on the following factors, (1) New or evolving technology, (2) Relevance to current Fuel handling issues and concerns, (3) Solving revolving problems.

Presentations will be scheduled for April 4 - 6, 201 8 ( Wednesday Thursday and Friday ). If you prefer a specific date and time please let us know with your submission email and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Presenting companies are required to publish and distribute selected papers at the seminar or workshop meeting. The papers should be no more than 4 pages in length. Final papers should be provided electronically on CD by 15 February 2 01 8 . All speakers receive complimentary registration if they pre-register.     
Exhibiting Companies will be given the opportunity to conduct one - hour sales type presentations during the Trade Show hours to provide any information they chose on their products or service. These workshops are available on a “first - come, first - served” basis. NPMA will provide the room and include the workshop in the master schedule.
