CR1699 Quality Control Supervisor I  – Fuels

Quality Control Supervisor for project sites in the US for repairs to Department of Defense (DoD) Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) facilities. This position may require travel up to 90% of the time to project sites, depending on project location.  Due to travel requirements, the candidate can live anywhere in the US mainland with travel to project sites. ECC offers a smaller family feel company culture, great benefits, and exceptional family medical / dental insurance!

·  Assist in implementing the Quality Control program including the three-phase control system and duties related to the POL system repairs.

  • Take appropriate action to ensure that work is performed in accordance with contract specifications, pertinent codes & practices as well as national and local standards
  • Work to actively promote and support the quality control program with subcontractors and project team members on a daily basis
  • As directed, deliver quality training for project staff, subcontractors, and other required attendees to ensure achievement of exceptional quality standards including participating in the development of training content
  • Inspect and document the receipt of all materials to ensure compliance with contract documents
  • Prepare and/or review of design and material submittals
  • Complete quality related documentation (field reports, logs, and records) in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide guidance to subcontractors, client representatives, and project team members to ensure that construction activities are completed according to design
  • Investigate and recommend solutions to resolve construction problems related to quality
  • Ensure implementation and documentation of corrective actions
  • Verify implementation and close-out corrective actions
  • Initiate stop work or re-work in coordination with the project team in circumstances with respect to work methodologies nonconformance
  • In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position


  • Two years of field experience with construction repairs to DoD POL facilities
  • Five years of DoD construction related management experience
  • Education:  High School diploma or GED
