Qualifications:

• 6 years’ experience in Fuels Management Operations functions to include mobile refueling, fuels hydrants and storage, managing fuels inventory accounts and fuels laboratory operations
• Must have experience with fuels hydrant systems, bulk storage tanks, dispatching, fuels operations to include receipt, transfers, and issuing fuel to aircraft using both mobile refueling vehicles and hydrant hose trucks
• Must be familiar with the use of Microsoft standard office products
• Experience with U.S. Air Force fuels operations preferred

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inputs information to the Air Force MISHAP reporter, performs trend analysis of incident reports and provides a monthly/annual summary of fuels related incidents. Monitors recommended procedural action and/or revised technical data, as necessary.
• Supports operations through; MICT Management Internal Control Toolset, AFTAT Air Force Test and Analysis Tool, EESOH-MIS Air Force Records Information Management Systems, ETIMS Enhanced Technical Information Management System, Air Force Petroleum Agency AFTAT
• Performs semiannual self-inspections covering all operations.
• Will be required to conduct no-notice spot inspections, which including special interest items from Corporate leadership.
• Analyzes deficiencies determines scope of the defect which could require corrective action.
• Ensure the health and welfare of people and equipment.
• Provides recommendations and coordinates a solution strategy to resolve deficiencies through fuels management.
• Identifies and corrects safety deficiencies.
• Provides technical training and expands the working knowledge of all assigned personnel to enhance fuels technical proficiency.
• Ensures the scope of quality/reliability assurance and as applicable an overall evaluation of the performance of distribution systems, operating techniques, and facilities.
• Performs other Management functions as directed by the Terminal Manager

Job Requirements:

Ensures/monitors compliance of all U.S. Air Force Fuels Operations conducted at Edwards AFB by performing random spot inspections and conducting semiannual self-assessments in accordance with company plans and current Air Force and DLA Energy instructions.
Compliance Manager: Applicants should have at least 6 years’ experience working in and providing quality control/compliance oversight of military fuels management operations or the commercial equivalent. Experience should cover the full range of operations conducted at Edwards AFB, including quality control/compliance of all aspects of bulk petroleum terminal operations, aircraft servicing, cryogenic operations, fuels accountability, automation equipment and initiatives, quality control, budget control and logistics planning.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
