Preferred Skills, Training and Education:

Requirements are having managed a large jet fuel facility and preferably a hydrant system for a period of five years. Other requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree (preferred)
  • Management skills required for this position are a strong knowledge and understanding of tank farm operations and hydrant systems. Also required is an understanding of environmental regulations, budgets, management and oversight of approximately 50 employees, payroll, customer relations, etc.
  • 5-10 years of supervisory/management experience
  • Demonstrated skill as a communicator and team builder; proven ability to balance the development of a high performing team.
  • Strong knowledge of computer programs (Word, Excell,Powerpoint)
  • Strong understanding of budgets and maintaining costs

Job Requirements:

This individual will be responsible for all activities related to the maintenance and operation of the jet fuel facility that provides fuel to Miami International Airport. The fuel system is one of the largest on airport fuel systems in the United States. The fuel system is comprised of a series of large tanks and an underground hydrant system that supplies fuel to all of the commercial gates.
