Kinley Construction at Columbus Air Force Base

Kinley Construction is nearing completion of the fuel system scope of a new Air Force jet fuel facility as a subcontractor to a small business joint venture, whose client is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District.
Major features of the project include installation of three 50,000 gallon above ground storage tanks and catwalks with tank-mounted 600 gpm pumps, a filter-separator pad with 2 issue and 2 receipt filter-separators, each rated for 1,200 gpm, a 300 gpm truck offload skid, two truck loading stations, a product recovery tank, approximately 4,000 linear feet of mostly 8-inch and 6-inch stainless steel pipe, approximately 2,400 total welds, all of which were required to pass inspection in accordance with ASME B31.3 severe cyclic stress criteria.
